Romer’s Burger Bar is River District’s first restaurant.  Attached to River District Centre, this restaurant has it all – locally sourced top quality ingredients, friendly service and breath-taking waterfront views from the patio.  Romer’s is the only spot in Southeast Vancouver where you can grab lunch with a colleague, have a snack after a waterfront stroll or enjoy a bite and a beer while cheering on your favourite sports team.

Chef Jim Romer brings a Californian perspective to the beloved beef patty. In other words, he takes it to a new and unexpected level. Some say that the secret of Romer’s rave reviews is the use of lightly toasted brioche buns rather than plain bread. Others point to sides that transcend fries, dips and gravy to genuine poutine and truffle oil. And then there are those who swear by adventurous salads, an extensive local and European beer and wine list — and Romer’s famous whisky-dipped drunken doughnuts.
