As River District develops over the next 15 – 20 years, there will be plenty of great amenities at your doorstep including an elementary and secondary school, daycares, offices, retail (including a grocery store and a drug store) and a community centre.  There will also be parks, an enhanced waterfront walkway, plazas, separated bike paths and transit.  Of course, the most important ingredient to a successful community is you!  And, you will be in good company.  At the end of the day, the project will include 7,000 homes for approximately 15,000 residents.
